  2. 2. THE ROMANS Roma and its Empire had great influence to the Etruscos. Village in the centre of Italy. • THE ROMANS conquered many territories between the 3rd centuries bc and the 1st century, and created the Roman Empire, whose capital was Rome.
  3. 3. THEIR LANGUAGE Their languages was latin. Many modern European languages are based on it. For example Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese.
  4. 4. THEIR LAWS • They governed according to the Roman Law. • The Law of the Twelve Tables was a legal text containing rules to regulate the coexistence of the Roman people.
