Chief Signalman Ogle was a member of the Royal Navy during World War II. He served aboard several ships including HMS Hood, which was sunk by the German battleship Bismarck in 1941. Ogle survived the sinking of Hood and went on to serve for the remainder of the war, demonstrating bravery and skill throughout his naval career.
