  2. 2. Mission<br />Since 1907 Charity Newsies mission has been to ensure that no child be kept out of school for lack of adequate clothing. <br />Newsies completes that mission by purchasing new apparel and distributing it free of charge to school children in Franklin County, Ohio<br />
  3. 3. What We Do<br />Charity Newsies provides free new clothing to needy children here in Franklin County.<br /><ul><li>In 2009 Charity Newsies provided free clothing to more than 14,000 children.
  4. 4. In 2010, Charity Newsies expects to clothe more than 15,000 children

Emergency clothing: victims of fire and flood disaster in Franklin County</li></li></ul><li>Why We Do This<br />Lack of proper clothes is a top reason children miss school<br />Charity Newsies knows that school clothes can cost a lot of money, and many parents are struggling to provide already<br />Wearing new clothes that fit properly is very important for a child’s self esteem<br />With high self esteem children are more likely to achieve success in school<br />
