Find out the truth on, an interactive website dedicated to discovering the truth behind government inconsistencies through journalistic publications and a social networking agenda. </li></ul>

Proposal <ul><li>This website will include articles written and fact-checked by professional journalists concerning U.S. government conspiracy theories. </li></ul><ul><li>As an interactive website, it allows its members to comment on such articles. </li></ul><ul><li>A member has the option of creating a user-profile that will include the pictures, interests and favorite conspiracy theories of the individual, making this a journalistic social networking site. </li></ul><ul><li>Each individual is allowed to write about their own theories in individual blogs attached to their profile. </li></ul>

Interactive Journal <ul><li>In consideration of the fact that no existing conspiracy theory website allows for viewer submitted input, is revolutionary. </li></ul><ul><li>Thanks to the social networking aspect of the website, members will have access to a database of information that is constantly and immediately updated. As indicated by the following citation, the instant exchange of information has become a necessity. </li></ul><ul><li>From an April 15th article on, &quot;With almost constant web connectivity provided by smartphones and free Wi-Fi at coffee shops, airports and bookstores -- not to mention the immediacy of Twitter and Facebook -- we've come to expect instant gratification online.&quot; </li></ul>
  5. 5. A Successful Approach to Journalism <ul><li>There is a crisis in the field of journalism! No longer must we pay for newspapers to have access to such information. Online news is rampant, abundant and free. </li></ul><ul><li>To overcome this obstacle, one must create a news site unlike any others. </li></ul><ul><li>There has yet to be a website dedicated to legitimate conspiracy theories, well-written by professionals and fact-checked to ensure truth. More so, there is no website like this that doubles as a social networking site, where people with similar beliefs can share thoughts and become “friends”. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Staying True To Journalism <ul><li>This website is not to be looked at as a social-networking site only. All of the articles shown on the main page are professionally written and fact-checked. </li></ul><ul><li>It provides a public forum for criticism and compromise by allowing comments under each article. </li></ul><ul><li>Articles written by journalists are verified and unbiased. </li></ul><ul><li>Its allegiance is to the public as it strives to bring forward the truth. </li></ul>

Market Research Plan <ul><li>To run a successful website, one must discover the likes and dislikes of a targeted audience. </li></ul><ul><li>Will conduct informational research on the competition. This will include finding already existing websites with similar missions i.e., social networking sites, news websites, conspiracy theory websites. </li></ul><ul><li>Will hand out surveys at college campuses and on the streets of NYC with the following questions: </li></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>What age are you? </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>What gender are you? </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Which news and social networking websites do you use most frequently/find most user friendly? </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Are you interested in conspiracy theories? </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>How interested are you in the government? </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>How much do you trust the government? </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Would you join a government-conspiracies based website? </li></ul></ul></ul>

Social Media <ul><li>This website uses social media to provide a public forum for criticism of the articles posted. </li></ul><ul><li>It uses social media as a point of interest- social networking sites are very popular and can be used to this websites advantage. It will attract the viewer to create a username and profile. </li></ul>
  9. 9. Business Plan <ul><li>ConspiracyCommunity will be free to create a username for the first month. </li></ul><ul><li>After the first month, members will pay a monthly fee of $5. </li></ul><ul><li>Advertisements will also be a small source of income. </li></ul>
  10. 10. Why Pay For News? <ul><li>This isn’t any news- it’s news you cannot get other places. The content offered by remains uncontested by any other website. </li></ul><ul><li>Doubling as a newspaper and a social networking site, the Conspiracy Community is well worth the small monthly fee. </li></ul>
