  2. 2. drama <ul><li>A Drama is a film genre that depends mostly on in-depth developing of realistic genres and usually rather serious film which have a strong emotion. </li></ul><ul><li>They usually contain over the top acting (dramatic), so it can draw the audience attention. </li></ul><ul><li>They based on social problem, alcoholism, drug addition, obsessions etc </li></ul>

Convention of Drama <ul><li>Conflict between character </li></ul><ul><li>Dramatic scenes </li></ul><ul><li>- Over exaggerated </li></ul><ul><li>Realism </li></ul><ul><li>- Based on real life stories </li></ul><ul><li>Emotional themes </li></ul><ul><li>- Domestic violent, addiction, bullying etc. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Inspired Drama Films <ul><li>Amid a strict Muslim rearing and a social life he's never had, Tariq (Evan Ross) enters college confused. New peers, family and mentors help him find his place, but the 9-11 attacks force him to face his past and make the biggest decisions of his life. </li></ul>The title of the movie is written in Arabic. Which portray that the movie is about religion

Father wanting his son to be just like him. In the flashbacks the colour is dull , which it easier for the audience to know. Dark and they frightens in the girls eyes, makes the audience feel sorry for her In the beginning they use a slow Islamic music. The music was so calm that it touched my heart. Christianity they are allowed to wear type of clothes that suits their personality. This. This is shown in the movie. In nearly at the end they used a drum beat, which build our tension. Moving to a new school and environment Tariq as a child struggling with his identity for women-wrapped up in clothing where only the hands, feet Men- A loose, long- sleeved, ankle-length dress and hat

For Colored Girls <ul><li>Each of the women portray one of the characters represented in the collection of twenty poems, revealing different issues that impact women in general and women of colour in particular. </li></ul>The cover page is really affective and works with the title as its illustrates struggle and pain which is showed in the Film.
  7. 7. Two shot Mother and daughter arguing. Two shot Dinner date turns out to be her worst nightmare. Close up Domestic violent husband, you can feel the anger and this is very disturbing for the viewers. Full shot Young vulnerable women in her room (isolated).

What will happen in the whole film <ul><li>Flashback of her getting bullied as a kid </li></ul><ul><li>At 10 years old she started starving her self because she believe the thinner you are, the more beautiful you will look </li></ul><ul><li>She’s always in her room, looking at celebrities and model. Her favourite model is Noemi Campbell </li></ul><ul><li>Mum and her boyfriend always spend time together, forgetting about her </li></ul><ul><li>She got taken to rehab because the school was worried about her. </li></ul>
