Have you heard the phrase “The Money is in the List”? Believe it because it’s true. If you don’t have a list of interested people who have subscribed to get more of what you’re offering, your business is really dead in the water.
Most of the time when you hear about lists, you immediately think about internet marketers and visions of sleaziness begin to appear. Well, I can’t say that didn’t occur to me too when I first started marketing my business on the internet, but I quickly realized that was an untruth—a lie.
If you don’t get anything else from this presentation, you have to understand that you HAVE to HAVE a list of people who have said “YES!” and subscribed because they really want to learn more about you and your business.
You can have the most awesome service or product in the world, but it won’t help anyone solve any problems if they don’t know it exists. Even if people know about your business, they’re not likely to buy from you if they don’t KNOW, LIKE and TRUST you.
