  • Illus: Process of changing something to the standard. Changing your watch, reconcile it to the standard.  Perfection. No defect or flaw. Bank account has no mistakes Apokatalla  total and complete. Brings peace, harmony, unity. Change from one condition to another. Eph 2:14-16,   Katallage: emphasis on exchange. Change of one party by the actions of another. Rom 5:11, 2 Cor 5 Not: diversity awareness, sensitivity, social justice. Because they don't bring shalom.  tolerance is putting up, no bigotry. Inclusivity? You actually don't want to accept everything. Food, fabric, festivals. Only appreciate.  Empowerment has become hospitality.  We can't support the status quo, just tolerance. We also can't seize power when it's our turn.   Shalom. Universal flourishing, wholeness, delight. Gen 1:31 Begins with God, instituted by Jesus, agency, holy spirit constitutes Acts 1:8, empowers. Practice, not giving up beliefs. We may have to turn to a page of scripture and say, this is where we disagree.  
  • Jn 1:14 god moved into the neighborhood (MSG). Retold with first nations terms. There is no shame when full of gods love. Jesus became a story among us, telling stories.
