  • 2. gathered 6540 data points received over 400 insights from Executives & HR Directors published 83 weekly reports, 389 daily updates & 11 special reports tracked 80 countries around the world for 22 months! With the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Career Angels started to record and compare unemployment levels vs. the number of job ads published on LinkedIn.   • 3. From the employer perspective: more demand for candidates = salaries and/or benefit packages go up. The “post and pray” approach might not work. On the other hand, more candidates, more choice, more negotiation flexibility. From the candidate perspective: more demand = "less effort" put into the job search (less time, more space to negotiate salary). Why do we do that? Who can find our data useful? Northern Europe Overview Initial: 129,098 job ads Week 1 (January 3, 2022) Final: 141,242 job ads Week 6 (February 7, 2022) Result: +9.41% The beginning of 2022 showed a very strong upward tendency. Despite 3 weeks of numbers dropping a little at the beginning of January, the number of job ads peaked at the beginning of February. January 17 January 31
