How has the job market changed in April 2022? Here some data points relating to the changes in the number of published job ads on LinkedIn:
- Europe (38 countries): -10.13%
- only 5 out of 38 countries saw a decrease
- 33 saw increases from 1.21% – 58.02%
- 2 000 000+ more job ads across the TOP20 economies worldwide compared to May 2020.
- 196 091 less job ads in Germany

With the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Career Angels wanted to understand how it actually affected the job market.   5. 5. From the employer perspective: more demand for candidates = salaries and/or benefit packages go up. The “post and pray” approach might not work. On the other hand, more candidates, more choice, more negotiation flexibility. From the candidate perspective: more demand = "less effort" put into the job search (less time, more space to negotiate salary). Why do we do that? Who can find our data useful?
