  3. 3. My own goals <ul><li>Know and study the colonies of bee-eaters in an area of Fluvià’s river. </li></ul><ul><li>Know the ethology and the systematic of this specie. </li></ul><ul><li>Contrast and relate my conclusions and observations with the preavious searched theory. </li></ul>

Practical conclusions <ul><li>Bee-eaters adapt very good to human activity or presence. </li></ul><ul><li>Lot of insects to feed them and their chicks  water very clean. </li></ul><ul><li>Six chicks for one pair of them. (x3 first population) </li></ul><ul><li>Great reproduction! </li></ul>
  9. 10. <ul><li>They usually stay in dead trees  locate their insects to eat. </li></ul><ul><li>Diet: </li></ul><ul><li>- Dragonflies  70% (very near the river and they abound). </li></ul><ul><li>- Bees  20%. </li></ul><ul><li>- Other types of insects  10% (beetles, beautiflies...). </li></ul>
