INDIAN FACE

INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARK:- BSE Sensex closed lower by
63.38 points, or 0.18%, to 34,331.68, while the Nifty 50 fell

11.10 points, or 0.11%, to close at 10,537.60. BSE MidCap and
SmallCap fell 0.07% and 0.37%, respectively. Among the
sectoral indices on BSE, FMCG gained most at 1.57% followed
by telecom 0.50% and realty 0.49%, while consumer durables
fell 1.18%, bankex 0.88% and energy 0.81%. ITC, Wipro,
Bharti Airtel and Tata Steel were top gainers, whereas Axis
Bank, M&M, IndusInd Bank and Hero MotoCorp were among
the major losers.



Oil gains after drop in US inventories adds to supply concerns.
Oil prices rose on Wednesday, lifted by a reported decline in
U.S. crude inventories and the risk of supply disruptions.
Brent crude oil futures were up 54 cents at $72.12 a barrel by
0941 GMT, while U.S. WTI crude futures were up 60 cents at
$67.12. OPEC's ministerial committee tasked with monitoring
the group's supply-cutting deal with non-OPEC countries, led
by Russia, meets in the Saudi city of Jeddah on Friday. The
Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and 10
rival producers have restrained output by a joint 1.8 million
barrels per day since January 2017 and pledged to do so until
the end of this year.


U.S. futures inched up on Wednesday as investors digested
earnings results and trade tensions lingered..



Europe’s main stock markets rose at the start of trading
following solid gains across Asia and on Wall Street



Asian markets finished broadly higher today with shares in
Japan leading the region. The Nikkei 225 is up 1.42% while
China's Shanghai Composite is up 0.80%.


IDBI Bank seeks shareholders nod to issues
shares worth Rs7881 crore

IDBI Bank said it is seeking shareholders’ approval for issuance of
equity shares aggregating to Rs7,881 crore to the government of India
and increase in authorised share capital to Rs8,000 crore. Shares fell
0.91% to Rs70.50

Dynamatic Technologies ties up with

Daher Aerospace
Dynamatic Technologies Ltd shares rose 0.75% to Rs1,875 after the
company said it has signed a memorandum of understanding with
Daher Aerospace to explore possibilities of partnering together to add
potential value in the global aerospace realm through collaborated
efforts.

Amtek Auto to sell stake in JV to Nippon
Steel, stock trades 3% lower

Troubled auto ancillary maker, Amtek Auto Limited (AAL), will sell all
equity and preference shares held in its Joint Venture (JV) SMI Amtek
Crankshafts Private Limited (SMIAC) to Nippon Steel and Sumitomo
Metal Corporation (NSSMC). SMIAC will cease to be a JV of AAL post
the stake sale. As per AAL’s FY17 annual report, it owns 50% stake in
SMIAC and its investment in the entity was worth Rs50.1cr as on March
31, 2017. SMIAC had a net worth of Rs77cr and reported a net loss of
Rs4.69 in FY17..

Dabur India shares hit 11-week high

Dabur India Ltd’s shares climbed as much as 2.8% to Rs353.6,
their highest since 2 February. Brokerage firm CLSA said outlook
for consumer staple firms is improving with the forecast for normal
monsoon in 2018 and high likelihood of a big increase in
government’s support prices for agricultural produce. Pressures
from Patanjali Ayurved, which impacted market shares of rivals,
also seem to have eased, added CLSA. Stocks of Dabur and
Emami Ltd are among top picks of CLSA, with “buy” rating. CLSA
raised price target of Dabur to Rs415 from Rs400.


Mastek Q4 consolidated result for the Quarter ended March 31,
2018: Net profit at Rs19.4 cr Vs Rs 18.4 cr (QoQ) Revenue up 6.8%
at Rs223.7 cr Vs Rs 209.5 cr (QoQ) EBITDA up 8.4% at Rs27.8 cr
Vs Rs25.7 cr (QoQ) EBITDA margin at 12.4% Vs 12.3% (QoQ) At
3.07 pm, Mastek was trading at Rs585, down by 1.39%, with a
volume of 1.76 lakh shares on the BSE.
