This documentary aims to bring awareness about Forced Marriages here in Canada and around the world. Stories of Races We put a call to action and asked people across Canada to send in their short racism story (15-30 seconds long). We complied a few of them, and here are the results. K-12 Multiculturalism Awareness & Stop Racism Education We are continually developing resources for k-12 classes to use to create an understanding of the diversity of cultures, races, religions in Canada, and tackle racism and bullying within the classroom environment. We are deliver these presentations to classes. For 2015, we delivered a total of 20 presentations. Welcoming Syrian Refugees at the Airport Through the power of social media, we have been letting Calgarians know when Syrian Refugees are arriving in Calgary. So far several groups have gone with positive signs, chocolates, little gifts and smiles to welcome the newcomers at the airport. We are so happy to see the positive spirit from Calgarians in welcoming the refugees. We have also seen other folks in different cities across Canada starting to do the same. Ongoing Outreach Through the year we has 15 different community presentations across Calgary relating to multiculturalism and anti-racism education.
