Mosquitoes are one of the majorproblems in our society because it carries a disease calledDengue, researchers make somefurther studies on how toexterminate mosquito-carryingborne diseases and developedthis topic to make an organicmosquito coil.
Likert scale evaluation used totest for the physical properties ofthe organic mosquito coil and forits effectiveness, researcherstested it in different containerscontaining larvae that arecultured for 7 -10 days.
From the 10 -minute observation forthe effectiveness of Organicmosquito coil, 6 out of 10 mosquitoeswere exterminated using the firsttreatment(with Leucena glauca Linnleaves),and 9 out of 10 mosquitoeswere exterminated using the second(with Leucena glauca Linn seeds) andthird treatment(both leaves ,seeds)
for the commercialized mosquito coil10 out 10 mosquitoes wereexterminated. Based from the results,the researchers concluded that thereis no significant difference in terms ofphysical properties and effectivenessof organic mosquito coil made frompulverized portion of Luceana glaucaLinn leaves and seeds as compared tothe commercially sold mosquito coil.
