Pinterest  Welcomes  Alcohol  Brands  to  Adver4sing    What  It  Is     Pinterest  now  allows  alcohol  brands  to  adver2se  on  the  pla4orm—as  long  as  they  follow  the  pla4orm’s   restric2ons  and  guidelines  outlined  below.     Brands  Cannot  Promote  Content  That:     •  Encourages  the  direct  consump2on  of  alcohol  (beer,  wine,  or  spirits)   •  Leads  to  the  online  sale  of  alcohol  (including  wine  or  beer  delivery  services)   Brands  Are  Allowed  to  Promote  Content  That  Includes:   •  Accessories  like  wine  glasses,  beer  steins,  and  flasks   •  Recipes  for  drinks  or  food  containing  alcohol   •  Recipes  that  suggest  alcoholic  beverage  pairings   •  Events  that  may  involve  (but  don't  solely  revolve  around)  alcohol  consump2on,  like  happy  hours,   winery  tours  and  home  brewing  classes   •  Events  sponsored  by  alcohol  brands,  as  long  as  the  event  isn't  focused  on  alcohol                                             Addi2onally,  all  standard  alcohol  regula2ons  for  the  marke2ng  and  adver2sing  industry  also  apply  to  Pinterest.
