1. 1. Geometry in the Real World ( New York City ).

By Caio Alves, 4 th Block.

2. 2. Point

Undefined term in geometry, it defines a location that has no size

3. 3. Line (Segment)

The part of a line consisting of two points and all the points in between

4. 4. Plane

Flat surface that has no thickness and extends forever

5. 5. Angles

A figure formed by two rays with a common endpoint

6. 6. Perpendicular Lines

Lines that intersect at 90 degrees angles.

7. 7. Parallel Lines

Lines that lie in the same plane, and are the same distance apart over their entire length .

8. 8. Triangle

A Three Sided Polygon.

15. 15. Parallelogram

A quadrilateral with two pairs of parallel sides

16. 16. Circle A circle is A line forming a closed loop, every point on which is a fixed distance from a center point.
17. 17. Cylinders A three-dimensional figure with two parallel congruent circular bases and a curved lateral surface that connect the bases
18. 18. Sphere The set of points in space that are a fixed distance from a given point called the center of the sphere
