What Happens If I Change Suppliers? <ul><li>Only the electric generation service or “supply” portion of your current bill will change. </li></ul><ul><li>When you choose Constellation Energy, you will see our subsidiary “Constellation New Energy, Inc.” as your supplier, and the adjusted price change. </li></ul><ul><li>You will still get one bill from your current utility. </li></ul><ul><li>That’s it. Everything else stays the same . </li></ul>

What Stays the Same? <ul><li>One bill from your current utility. </li></ul><ul><li>Your local utility will continue to deliver the electricity. </li></ul><ul><li>Your local utility will continue to service your meter and wires as well as respond to any power outages . </li></ul><ul><li>You will continue to be able to use your utility’s budget billing option for the utility portion of your invoice </li></ul>

Will I Still Get the Same Service from My Utility? <ul><li>Your current utility does not generate your electricity, they only deliver it. </li></ul><ul><li>Your utility is bound by law to provide equal service to all of its customers regardless of your provider of electricity supply. </li></ul><ul><li>In fact, JCPL, PSEG and Constellation Energy are members of “The COMPETE Coalition , ” which supports well structured competitive electricity markets like we have here in New Jersey. </li></ul>

Why Are Some Companies Less Expensive Than Others? <ul><li>Competitive suppliers of electricity, like Constellation Energy, can provide pricing options that more closely reflect the current market and can purchase electricity when the market is low. </li></ul>Your local utility, also needs to purchase electricity, but must lock in commodity prices at fixed points

Savings are calculated against the respective basic general service fixed price winter tariff rates for rate classes RS for PSEG customers of 11.5¢/kWh (rounded) and for JCPL customers of 11.8¢/kWh (rounded), which include transmission, but which we adjusted to exclude the 7% sales and use taxes since we will separately assess, as such tariffs are in effect October 1, 2010. The utility prices also do not reflect the additional BGS reconciliation charge, which may be a credit or charge and is subject to change during the winter tariff rates. PSEG’s and JCPL’s summer 2011 rates are not yet available. Your savings will be lower if you are not on rate class RS. The variable monthly price will consist of a variable energy charge, a retail service charge and applicable taxes as provided in the terms and conditions. Budget billing is not yet available.
