Preliminary Conclusions & Next StepsThe results of our analyses indicate that theimplementation of green chemistry by the pharmaceuticalindustry is reflected in the TRI data.The results more broadly suggest a potential for the use ofTRI data as a practical tool to track environmentalprogress (or lack thereof) within all manufacturing sectors.We are currently identifying those TRI chemicals for whichthe pharmaceutical industry reports fewer quantities.10/30/12 16
