3. 3. The problem we’re solving is: A university graduate’s ability to find, manage and shortlist graduate recruitment opportunities.
 4. 4. Our solution is: A mobile, web based iPhone application (which can be adopted for other smart phone platforms) that serves as a digital directory to provide graduates access to over 250+ list (and growing) of graduate programs across Australia. The most comprehensive list of its kind.
 5. 5. This is a big opportunity because:

Graduate recruitment will continue to grow as employers face an ongoing skills crisis

Current solutions for graduate students exists in the form of a physical ‘Yellow Pages’ style directory (created by one govt. entity) or through university career fairs. Both of which provide limited access to limited number of students

It allows companies to create a new channel through which to connect with future talent whilst enabling direct integration of their social media platforms and strategies

The future is mobile and Grad Jobs capitalises on this through first mover advantage

Concept can be applied internationally – US, UK, Singapore, China, Malaysia, India etc.

This is in addition to the regular BD strategies such as SEO, marketing campaigns etc.

Demonstrating to potential companies (looking to feature a profile in the app) that an established user base exists through the above strategies

 8. 8. We will make money by:

In startup phase - options in order of preference include:

Have x number of companies pay to have ‘feature employer’ profiles and grow this number yearly

Have x number of companies pay to have ‘feature employer’ profiles + mobile advertising displayed on standard profile pages

Combination of paid employer profiles + user pay model

Balanced mix of paid employer profiles + user pay + mobile advertising model

Purely mobile advertising driven model

 9. 9.

Graduate Opportunities – A subsidiary of Graduate Careers Australia (A government body).
