I spoke as a part of the NextGen: Charity (now 12 Gurus) event at the Association of Fundraising Professionals conference in Vancouver, BC. My focus was on what organizations - and fundraisers in particular - needed to STOP doing.

    12. 12. BUILD ABETTEREFFORT. ASSEMBLE THE CHOICESTELEMENTS TO FORM A FREAKISHLY AMAZING OPERATION. 
    13. 13. WRITE THE FUTURE.WE SHOULD SUPPORT AND ENHANCE, CULTIVATE AND CREATE A BROADER COMMITMENT TO CHANGE AND ALARGER VISION OF WHAT IS POSSIBLE. 
    14. 14. BESOCIAL.IT IS TIME WE CHANGED HOW WE ACT - AND INTERACT - WITH EACH OTHER.
    15. 15. TAKE ON THE HARD STUFF.WE HAVE PLENTY OF TOOLS, CASH, ANDATTENTION. WHAT WE DONT HAVE ARE REAL SOLUTIONS TO THE CHALLENGES THAT OUR SOCIETY IS FACING.
    16. 16. FINISH SOMETHING.INSTEAD OF LAUNCHING MORE CAMPAIGNS AND CREATING NEW INITIATIVES WE SHOULD BE COMMITTING TO ACTUALLY FINISH SOMETHING.
