Growing up where "daycare" was often tagging along with my mother to her lab, and Saturday cartoons were centered around 'Dexter's Laboratory,' the aspiration to work in a lab took early roots. In my collegiate career, I have often elected to take the corresponding lab component with science courses even when it wasn't required by my degree. To me, the lab has always been a place where scientific concepts quite literally come to life with invaluable hands on experience. Now as an undergrad at IUPUI I am engrossed in achieving my professional scientific and academic goals including working towards a career as Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
