Work History SGS Petroleum Service (Marathon) Garyville, LA July 2011—Present Dock Operator Leadman  Promoted to Dock Operator Leadman in an upgrade position responsible for a shift of 5 Dock Operators and 5 Rail Operators, and would fill in for Shift Foreman incase of their absence.  Operates and controls marine hydraulic loading arms, cranes, valves, and pumps.  Ensures environmental safety of dock operation through following of work procedures.  Responsible for accurately completing regulatory paperwork, and for monitoring of transfer.  Serves as the facility person-in-charge during marine dangerous liquid bulk transfers.  Communicates effectively with Tank Farm Operators to ensure proper line ups for given product  Obtains, records, and inspects product samples from dock lines and vessels for analysis. Rail and Truck Loader Operator  Loads and offloads tank trailers and rail cars of LPG products including Polypropylene, Olefins, and Butane utilizing high pressure hoses connected to a vaporizing unit.  Experienced in the safe handling and loading of molten Sulfur. Loaded trailers on weight scales to ensure correct shipment weight and minimal chance of having to remove excess weight.  Performs safe rail switching to maintain rail yard for storage, shipping, and receiving.
