  • I group in 2’s. It has worked really well for me. If I have a behavior student, they are alone until they are able to be more social.

  • Many different ways to post center boards. Some do not even use this, and allow student choice.

  • I adapated this idea from Teachers Tipster. Check out his site, he has some awesome ideas!
  • Check out blogspot blog sites. Simply type in “blogspot” in google, and then whatever it is you are looking for. You will find simply amazing resources!Pinterest: pretty much the same, but everyone finds the blogs and posts a picture from the blog that links you to the site.

Differentiation…• Is needed because, one size does not fit all• Is not individualized instruction, but adapting theteaching and learning to meet all needs• Maximizes growth and individual success• Is a mix of whole-group, small-group,partnership, and individual work• Can be done by adjusting the content, processor product depending on student needs
    4. 4. Ways to Group Students(recommended 2-4 students in a group)• Flexible Groups– For instructional purposes– By student interest– Can be changed any time• Random grouping– Create new environment– Encourage teamwork

Could be stored in individual student folders (FFF)• Ask for parent or older student helpers during math centers • Expect a little noise (Caterpillar) • Don’t give up!!!
