An Introduction to Blended Learning A blended learning approach combines face to face and computer mediated instruction May also be referred to as: Hybrid learning, e-Learning, online learning, technology enhanced learning
An Introduction to Blended Learning However, important points… Technology does not replace face to face teaching! Do not put the horse before the cart! (i.e. consider the pedagogy prior to the technology)
Appropriate use of technology enhanced learning Technology should be used to enhance your teaching and students’ learning, i.e: it should add VALUE
