  3. 3. How do I get started? In order to successfully obtain your visa, you will have to follow the steps outlined in this presentation. There are 3 main steps involved in this process.

Obtain a Visa through a by investing in a Company Incorporation Peruvian Listed Company Investor Visa Investor Visa PATH 1 PATH 2 There are (2) common paths to obtain a Peruvian visa through an investment. Work Visa Path 1: Incorporate a local company and invest in this company. Path 2: Invest in a Peruvian listed company. Visa Paths

  6. 6. Duration. 1 year, extendable by 1 year after expiration. Application Processing Time. Up to 2 months once all required documentation has been submitted. Path 1 (Option 1): Work Visa Incorporate a company and hire yourself as an employee. Requirements. • An employment contract from a Peruvian employer (i.e. your company) prepared by a lawyer. • Registration with the Peruvian tax authority (SUNAT).
  7. 7. Requirements. • A minimum investment value of S/500,000 PEN. • Commitment letter to create 5 local employment positions. Duration. 1 year, extendable by 1 year after expiration. Application Processing Time. Between 1 and 2 months once all required documentation has been submitted. Sponsor your visa with the newly incorporated company. Path 1 (Option 2): Investor Visa

  12. 12. Step 2: Complete Required Documentation Visa Application 1) Fill out the visa application form and make the visa processing payment. 2) Provide translated and apostilled documents and a copy of your passport. 3) Provide a certificate of the investment made and have it authenticated.
  13. 13. Step 3: Obtain a Peruvian ID (Carné) Visit a Peruvian Immigration Office and obtain your national identification card (’Carné de Extranjería’).
