Chairman Characteristics <ul><li>Believe that a successful Finance campaign is essential for the Council to reach it goals </li></ul><ul><li>Possess leadership ability </li></ul><ul><li>Be representative of top leadership </li></ul><ul><li>Have ability to recruit and stimulate leaders </li></ul><ul><li>Be willing to follow a plan </li></ul><ul><li>Be organized </li></ul><ul><li>Have financial ability to give at top-level </li></ul>

A Chairman MUST <ul><li>Assume responsibility to raise the goal </li></ul><ul><li>Give at the leadership level first </li></ul><ul><li>Preside at meetings </li></ul><ul><li>Give leadership to recruiting his team </li></ul><ul><li>Keep the campaign on schedule </li></ul><ul><li>Ask those he recruits to give </li></ul><ul><li>Expect accountability </li></ul>

Table Host <ul><li>Attend Table Host Briefing </li></ul><ul><li>Make a personal gift </li></ul><ul><li>Agree to contact 6 to 8 prospects </li></ul><ul><li>Ask for and secure their GIFT </li></ul><ul><li>Ask them to attend the dinner </li></ul><ul><li>Follow-up with confirmations on attendance to the dinner </li></ul><ul><li>Report progress at each checkpoint meeting </li></ul><ul><li>Get closure on each gift ask (yes, amount, when, or no) </li></ul><ul><li>Complete asks before the Dinner </li></ul><ul><li>Attend the dinner with his prospects </li></ul><ul><li>If not complete, clean-up within two weeks </li></ul>

District Family FOS Chair <ul><li>Attend Council Briefing </li></ul><ul><li>Make a Leadership Level Gift </li></ul><ul><li>Promote Family Presentations and sign-ups at November and December Roundtables </li></ul><ul><li>Recruit Family Presenters (one presenter for each 3 to 5 units) </li></ul><ul><li>Schedule presentations with each targeted unit </li></ul><ul><li>Schedule presenters </li></ul><ul><li>Follow-up with presenters and units </li></ul>

Campaign Worker <ul><li>Make a pledge </li></ul><ul><li>Attend Kick-off (briefing or training) </li></ul><ul><li>Contact assigned prospects and ask for a gift </li></ul><ul><li>Secure closure (yes, amount, billing date, or no) </li></ul><ul><li>Report progress at the report meetings </li></ul><ul><li>Have closure on all prospects by due date </li></ul><ul><li>Turn-in results to the Division Chairman at each checkpoint </li></ul><ul><li>IF miss due date complete within 2 week clean-up period </li></ul>

FAMILY FOS PRESENTER <ul><li>Make a Gift </li></ul><ul><li>Attend Training </li></ul><ul><li>Do 3 to 5 presentations </li></ul><ul><li>Confirm time and location 3 to 5 days prior </li></ul><ul><li>Arrive at the meeting before the program starts </li></ul><ul><li>Confirm with Cub Master or Scout Master on introduction. Ask for endorsement from them and for them to state and visibly make their pledge. </li></ul><ul><li>Keep to the script and time-frame allotted. </li></ul><ul><li>SAY THANKS </li></ul><ul><li>Total results should be reported to the Leader. </li></ul><ul><li>Pledges and Money turned in to District Executive within 48 hours. </li></ul>
