  15. 15. E-Journals They are full-text journals subscribed by the University or free access (Open Access). They appear in the Online Catalog “Catálogo Mezquita” but also have a separate section for reference.   16. 16. E-book and Internet Resources eBooks Signed by the University or free access (Open Access) are full-text electronic format. Internet Resources Free resources on the Internet are selected by the Library that may be of help. You can only access them through the relevant section.   17. 17. What is the difference between catalog / database? The catalogs collect a particular library collection, indicating the location to which we can go and get it or order it.   20. 20. Mezquita Catalog, Databases, eJournals, eBook, free web Resources Mezquita Catalog includes materials acquired by the UCO and are their property . Includes: Books , videos , work documents , ... Paper journals , statistics, thesis , ... Internet-accessible electronic resources which are our property (databases , journals and e-books, ... ) . When you do a search will give you all the possibilities. Databases can find them in their own section , for ease of reference and, above all , because each has a different query software that loses functionality when integrated into the catalog ( personalized access , alerts , RSS , ... ) . Access only allows users recognized by the institution. The option eJournals and eBooks , is similar in terms of consultation and access to the databases . They also have their own sections. Internet Resources . Free Web Resources selection of academic interest. They are not our property , are unstable and have no rights over them. Truncation Truncation allows simultaneous searches for variant forms of search terms and is the metod more useful to search every word with a specific root or the same combination of characters.   50. 50. Boolean operators Every search term should be presented in the documents records in order to be recovered. TOPIC: forest AND fire* Retrieve documents which contain forest as much as fire*. To recover a document, the document has to contain any of term entered. Use different alternatives or synonyms whe you are searching. TOPIC: aspartame OR saccharine OR sweetener* Retrieve any documents with at least one of the terms.   52. 52. Address field You will also find the E-mail address of the author responsible for receiving requests article. He will send it courtesy altough he is not liable to do it or maybe some rights from the editorial of the article restricts him to send it during a restriction time. DOI: Specific normalized number which anybody can use in order to locate the article on the Inernet.
