- We are not only a university library but also a CRAI, as you know Learning Centre, Information Commons. Etc. …..as well
- In this presentation we want to explain you briefly this information, if you have any question, please ask me.
- Firstly, our timetable: we open Monday to Friday During exams periods (january, may, june) me have special opnening hours including saturdays
- Since 2009 we have this new library building created as an Information Commons/CRAI: a building with a wide variety of spaces and uses
- We have a big building with diferent types of spaces, one of them “group study rooms” is very used for our students because it allows to study in group, to talk, to discuss… furthemore it has blackboard to work with your colleagues We have a big building with diferent types of spaces, one of them “group study rooms” is quite used for our students because you are able to study in group, to talk, to discuss… furthemore it has a blackboard to work with your colleagues
- The building is divided in 3 floors, in all of them we have collections, reading rooms and group study rooms. You need to choose the space you prefer.
- You can take books directly from shelves, to use them at the library or to borrow them. If you decide to borrow some books, you need to go to the main desk in the ground floor.
- Literature, comics, travel guides… are other collections the Library also have . You can find them in the 1st floor. Furthermore, and especially for the audiovisual communication students, Campus Gandia Library has a film collection with more than 2500 classic film, series….
- Here you will find the necessary information to access computing resources of the UPV, depending if you are within the university itself or if you are located outside.
- Our catalog Polibuscador is the best way to find books Through this database you can find all documents held by UPV libraries Polibuscador is available on the Internet and on library computers. Later I’m going to show you how this Polibuscador runs.
