On entry into the airport
A welcome message along with location maps
detailing airport facilities such as check-in
counters, airline lounges, boarding gates, transfer
areas etc.

Passengers waiting at the counters or lobby will
enjoy an interactive experience and receive real
time information such as personalized flight time,
delays, flight PNR status etc. This happens when
the passenger comes within the proximity of a
beacon placed in the area.

Beacons can help passengers to navigate with
indoor directions, walk times to gates, lounge
access and alerts about boarding. Using
interactive maps passengers can be guided along
typical pathways between public transport points,
check-in counters, immigration or duty-free
shopping areas.

passengers preferred language can be made.
This would be of great help for passengers to

Beacons can assist passengers by providing a
step-by-step navigation assistance to the exact
terminal or any transit information including
information on which carousel to retrieve their
baggage from.

If a passenger is supposed to be in beacon zone

then trigger a message with instructions where
they need to be.

Beacons at airport exhibits trigger your app to
display additional information about the subject.

A time tested, proven powerful tool employed by
companies to apprise customers regarding
various other amenities or services that a
company provides. For example, using beacons,
a customer at the airport waiting area can be
informed about a nearby dinning place or the duty
free shopping area. Cross selling when used
intelligently can drastically help to increase sales
in a smart way.

The presence of housekeepers and maintenance
crews could also be logged by using beacons,
removing the need for paper-based records. Alerts
can also be sent if specific areas have not been
serviced as per schedule. You can also use dwell
time to generate analytics on how long different
activities take and use them as a way to measure
productivity or adjust schedules to maximize the
productivity of your workforce.

Data collected from the beacons could be analysed to
make better informed decisions. For instance, using
heat maps we can monitor the passenger movement
inside the airport thereby help assist the authorities
in better crowd management. These heat maps can
also be used to target appropriate ads based on the
crowd behaviour thereby increasing the probability of
closing any sales.

polls for passengers who have checked-in but not
yet arrived at gate to determine their location

  • 12. A time tested, proven powerful tool employed by companies to apprise customers regarding various other amenities or services that a company provides. For example, using beacons, a customer at the airport waiting area can be informed about a nearby dinning place or the duty free shopping area.   • 13. The presence of housekeepers and maintenance crews could also be logged by using beacons, removing the need for paper-based records.
