2. Step 1: Clean Subfloor
subfloor needs to be free of dirt or
debris prior to installation

• Holes
• Protruding objects
• Unevenness

4. Step 2: Roll Out Underlayment
• Tape side next to the wall
• Vapor Barrier side against subfloor

5. Roll out the right way
• Make sure tape strip is next to the wall and
overlapping film is towards open room

6. Step 3: Cut Section

7. Step 4: Roll out Next Section

previous row in same manner

8. Step 5: Butt next Section
• Butt section close to the first row
• Should be covering the overlapping film

9. Step 6: Remove Tape
• Remove tape liner & secure overlapping film
to it

10. Step 7: Cut another section
cut your next section to proceed
onward with installation

11. Step 8: Continue Installation
