As a volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Benjamin “Ben” Perlin facilitates the sale of previously owned furniture and building materials at affordable prices. He accepts donations that range from sinks and toilets to paint and carpets, and he helps to match these donations with customers seeking inexpensive materials. On one occasion, Benjamin Perlin sold a set of airplane windows as decorations for a recording studio. Through this work, Benjamin Perlin helps Habitat for Humanity to fund its projects and secure mortgages from lending organizations.
