  5. 5. WASTE TO ENERGY TECHNOLOGY Originally found in Germany in 20th century Singapore is the country which is most successful in implementation Involves changing various elements of solid in to a form of energy (W T E incineration)

OPERATING OF TECHNOLOGY Waste transported into a waste incineration facility Solid waste will be put to a special burning chamber for combustion Boiled water will be used to drive the turbine Ash from the burning process can be used for land filling purposes All gases were cleaned before emitted
