  1. 1. WATER HAIKU WORKS BY 3 rd ESO STUDENTS IES DIEGO RODRIGUEZ ESTRADA SAN JUAN DEL PUERTO

HAIKU <ul><li>Haiku 俳句 is a form of Japanese poetry , consisting of 17 moras (syllables), in three phrases of 5, 7, and 5 moras respectively. </li></ul><ul><li>Haiku typically contain a seasonal reference, and the topic is always related to nature. </li></ul><ul><li>They usually describe a landscape and involve diverse feelings such as nostalgia, pain, love, humour... </li></ul>
  3. 3. <ul><li>The goals of the project are: </li></ul><ul><li>- To deal with rhyme, rhythm and other phonetic concepts which would otherwise be outside the reach of my students. </li></ul><ul><li>To make a creative and artistic use of the English language, in order to express feelings. </li></ul><ul><li>To integrate language and images in order to design their works. </li></ul><ul><li>The following is a selection of their works. </li></ul>
