(ICC) for trade finance education
Madrid, October 12th
, 2015. Banco Santander has signed an agreement with the

program in trade finance and international business and investment, in which 600 Banco
Santander employees will take part.
Banco Santander will be the first bank in the European and American markets with ICC-

the area of trade finance.
According to Angel Rivera, Senior Executive Vice-President and Head of the Retail &
Commercial Banking division, with this agreement: “Santander will support companies in
their international expansion, offering them the know how our bank has to offer. This is a
unique opportunity for us to promote, along with ICC, a professional international training
model, with Banco Santander benefitting from a specific programme which has been
adapted to the professional profiles of our teams. All of this, guaranteed by the high-quality
standards of the ICC Academy. This agreement will reinforce our leadership in the market as
a pioneering entity promoting international business and trade finance.”
