A case study showcasing the work Ballou PR did with Accel Partners around the appointment of Philippe Botteri as Principal in its London office.

During the one month project, a total of 17 pieces of coverage were achieved across the UK and France in key trade publications such as TechCrunch Europe, TechCrunch France, Private Equity International, Alt Assets, emea Finance and La Tribune, resulting in over five million impressions.

Accel has a strong presence in the US, and wanted to build a similar awareness in the UK and France, including standing out against competitors in key media. » Ballou PR carried out in-depth web research to monitor Accel’s presence in Europe, highlighting opportunities and differences with competing firms, and used Botteri’s arrival from a Californian VC to position Accel as successful and expanding. » During the one month project, a total of 17 pieces of coverage were achieved across the UK and France in key trade publications such as TechCrunch Europe, TechCrunch France, Private Equity International, Alt Assets, emea Finance and La Tribune, resulting in over five million impressions. » In addition five interviews were set up by Ballou PR with The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, EMEA Finance, Bloomberg TV and Wansquare, which all resulted in coverage.
