  3. 3. 7 August National Night Out-Fort Riley will celebrate National Night Out on Wednesday, August 7, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the Forsyth Neighborhood Center. This event is a great way to meet your neighbors and interact with the Fort Riley Police and Fire Departments. There will be food, static displays, 3 on 3 basketball competitions, tug of war competition and more! If you are interested in participating in any of the competitions or for more information, please contact your community office. National Night Out has been celebrated across the country since 1984 to increase awareness on topics like police and firefighter programs, drug prevention, neighborhood watch programs and crime prevention. Milford Lake is no long under Blue Green Algae Advisory-The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has removed Milford Lake from the list of lakes impacted by blue green algae. The Fort Riley Marina will resume rentals of Jet Skies, tubs, water skies, canoes/ kayaks starting 7-26-13. So grab some friends and head out the Fort Riley Military Marina for a great weekend.
