The London Games have inspired us to think differently about our travelarrangements. We’ve decided to challenge ourselves to each walk/cycle20 miles of our normal journeys to/from work. Why?To raise funds in support of Vimba, a London-based charity dedicated to the fight againstpoverty and deprivation throughout Southern Africa. Our fundraising ambition for 2012 is to raise sufficient funds to sponsor a Feeding andEducation Centre for a year. These centres often provide the only daily meal that somechildren will receive. They also often provide teachers and children with the full tummiesneeded to focus on learning.When?13th – 29th August 2012: We already need to change our travel plans during the Olympicand Paralympic Games so we decided we’d challenge ourselves during a time when wecould otherwise rely on regular transport. How can you help? Please support us by making a donation via our JustGiving page: www.justgiving.com/BSGUKWalkCycleChallengeJoin us by creating a partnership Walk/Cycle to Work Challenge to help raise even moremoney for a worthy cause!
