 English: Comprehension, grammar, literacy and language.
 Maths: Number and place value, addition and subtraction,
properties of shapes, multiplication and division, fractions,
measuring mass and time.
 Science: Sound & States of matter.
 History: Romans.
 Religious Education: Jesus’ parables & Christmas
Journeys.
 PE: Outdoor- Thursday Indoor- Friday. Please ensure your
child has the correct kit in school. (Trainers and tracksuits for
outdoor/white shorts and T shirt for indoor). Thank you.

6. Homework expectations
 Homework will be sent out every Friday
and should be returned by Tuesday
please. It will usually consist of Literacy
and Numeracy activities. They will
reinforce objectives taught that week.
