Office Energy<br />All printers/photocopiers default to energy saving mode when not in use. <br />fridges and dish washers are A rated.<br />low energy light bulbs <br />All light switches have reminder notices to switch off.<br />Office lighting is sectional so that smaller areas can be lit<br />Staff reminded to switch off PC screens and hard drives at the end of the day.<br />70% of our PCs are laptops -significantly lower energy use than desktops.<br />All PC screens have power save.<br />We now order as standard Dell Energy Efficient laptops and our servers use Dell Smart Energy technology.<br />We have centralised printing, and use multifunctional devices which can scan, print and photocopy reducing the need to power separate machines.<br />
