  4. 4. The Good Side Smart Keyboard (QuickType) • Identifies to whom you are typing to, is it a mail or message? • Suggestions based on these parameters make the typing heuristic.
  5. 5. The Good Side App Extensions • Developers can create Widgets of their apps • Logical extension of the Widget can make IAC (inter apps communication) possible.
  6. 6. The Good Side Family Sharing • Most innovative feature of iOS 8 • Share music, books, apps, calendar, or location with 6 members of your family.

The Good Side Handoff • Pickup from where you left • Switch to another device and continue your ongoing activity seamlessly • Both device and machine act as content creator & presenter • Some of the applications of Apple like Keynote, Safari, Maps, Contacts and Mail will use this functionality with iOS 8 and Yosemite.

  10. 10. The Bad Side Multitasking • No Multitasking functionality in iOS8 Payment Option • No NFC support why still Touch ID or iBeacons are not used for payment transitions. • The market is waiting this big time.
  11. 11. The Ugly Side New iMessages • iMessages comes with voice, video and location and but too late to be termed as new. • Implementation looks like Copy- WhatsApp-best-features.
