CLASSROOM PRESENTATION TIPS IN 5 SLIDES

  1. 1.  Minimum font size should be 20. Because what’s readable on a close-up laptop screen might not be readable from a distant projection screen.  Don’t type in all that text into slides; just give the key points and explain them.
  2. 2.  You unleash the power of PowerPoint when you make your presentation MORE VISUAL AND LESS TEXTUAL.  More visual= more diagrams, photos, charts etc.
  3. 3.  The Classroom Font: use “Cambria” font for headings in academic presenatations. It has a bit more convincing appeal than other fonts.  Don’t look back to the projector screen while presenting. You disappoint people who are looking at you.
