Prior to May 2015, there were only a few authoring and publishing platform options that appealed to enterprise Augmented Reality developers. When, as a result of the acquisition of Metaio, the attractive options declined the windows of opportunity for innovation and expansion of new, alternate enterprise AR authoring, publishing and management tools opened wide. Today there are nearly 20 commercially-viable software solutions for enterprise AR experience authoring, publishing and management.

During this session we will provide a taxonomy for different enterprise AR authoring tools and compare the features of ten platforms optimized for developers seeking to streamline experience production pipelines and integrate AR into enterprise content management and IT systems.
