  2. 2. OVERVIEW • J.D. Power and Associates is a global market information services firm operating in key business sectors including market research, forecasting, consulting, training and customer satisfaction • With more of its customers demanding “faster time to value” for its data, due to shortened product cycles and intense competition, J.D. Power and Associates recognized the need to develop innovative tools to allow their customers to rapidly analyze and act upon J.D. Power and Associates customer satisfaction and quality research.
  3. 3. CHALLENGES • ‘Flat-file’ deliverables required extensive client effort to convert data and integrate with internal analysis tools • Lack of data integration capabilities limited opportunities to provide higher value downstream activities

SOLUTION • Developed web-based interactive data analysis tools that end-users could begin using immediately to further analyze JDPA research • Provided flexible web-based platform enabling clients to connect research findings to internal data sources for further analysis, ongoing performance measurement and training resources • Design, development and deployment of integrated architecture and leading Business Intelligence application tools. • Hosting, administration and ongoing technical and program support.
  5. 5. RESULTS • Leveraging Atlas System’s experience and expertise with data integration and presentation, J.D. Power and Associates was able to move beyond basic PowerPoint presentations and data tables to providing its clients with innovative products ranging from ‘out-of-the-box’ analysis tools to highly customized decision-support solutions and took its goal “to enable its customers to make better decisions through credible, meaningful, and easily accessible customer-based information” to a new level • By combining J.D. Power and Associates industry-leading research practices with Atlas Systems experience developing creative, intuitive business intelligence tools, J.D. Power and Associates’ clients were able to rapidly integrate the research findings into their product development and customer support operations • Utilizing Atlas System’s rapid proto-typing methodology and extensive application development resources, J.D. Power and Associates was able to go from design to deployment of several customized solutions that were delivered on-time and on- budget according to an aggressive time-to-market schedule
