How to Add New Object Link in
SAP DMS

In order to demonstrate the process of adding
new object link to SAP DMS, the example is
based on Service Entry Sheet object which does
not have object link in standard. It can be used
for any other object in SAP which does not have
object link.

1. Create new FM
OBJECT_CHECK_ESSR by copying
FM OBJECT_CHECK_EQUI.
2. Replace the new FM source code as
follows: the table EQUI with the table
ESSR and the key EQUI-EQUNR with
the key ESSR-LBLNI.

4. Create new screen (e.g.
9003) as copy of screen
1204 in function group
CV130
5. Replace the new screen
source code as follows: the
key EQUI-EQUNR with the
key ESSR-LBLNI.
6. Copy the new screen also to
function group CV140.

structure MCDOKOB
contain the field
LBLNI. If it is not,
append the field to
the structure.
