unable to validate host

  1. 1. Configuration of Host login and NDMP credentials from the NetApp Management Console fails with the following error; Unable to validate host credentials. Error: The Diagnose Storage System Wizard of the NetApp Management Console displays the following message from the Login Credentials screen. This could be really frustrating as this error is not very helpful even though it is indicating towards ‘port/transport’ details are valid. Cause The filer is not configured to allow httpd-based administration: filer> options httpd httpd.access legacy httpd.admin.access legacy httpd.admin.enable off Solution Turn on the httpd access on the filer. filer>options httpd.admin.enable on Prepared by, ashwinwriter@gmail.com
