• In today’s world of technology it is important
to understand the effective way media
productions present information or ideas.

3. Special Effects
• Give movies some magic.
• Examples: Greenscreen effects, duplicating an
actor in the same place, moving objects (like
in the Harry Potter movies), forced
perspective (like in the Lord of the Rings
movies), walking backwards and reverse
footage, move slowly and play at faster

5. Process
• In the preproduction stage I prepared,
planned, and wrote a script for myself for the
production.
• In the production stage I made sure I had all of
the equipment needed. Then I started to film
the school, sports, an interview, and myself.
• In the postproduction stage I entered in all of
my footage, chose special effects, and
organized my video.

6. What I Have Learned
• I have learned much more about equipment
and special effects in my research.
• I learned and practiced patience while
creating the video.
• I have also gained confidence in this video
project.
