Never stop running in karlstad

 1. 1. LIFEBOOK4Life – Accept no boundaries Never stop running 1 Copyright 2011 FUJITSU Follow me on a business trip through Karlstad with my STYLISTIC Q550
 2. 2. Introduction Copyright 2011 FUJITSU 2 About me: The city: I‘m a creative web strategist with a passion for people, Internet, entrepreneurship. And coffee. Karlstad is said to be the city where the sun always shine. My STYLISTIC Q550: Point and touch all day long. Battery runtime: Up to 8 hours
 3. 3. 08:00: Closing in on Karlstad Copyright 2011 FUJITSU

Rise and shine! Karlstad is known for two things: The sun and water.

 4. 4. 08:30: Coffe in the coffee house Copyright 2011 FUJITSU

Karlstad does not have many tall buildings. The coffee house is probably one of the tallest. Here coffee is roasted around the clock and somtimes you can smell the incredible aroma throughout the whole city. Recently a cafe was opened. Here you find exclusive coffee for coffee lovers like me. A must stop!

 5. 5. 10:00: Let there be water Copyright 2011 FUJITSU

Karlstad is actually built on a river delta: Klarälven (translates to clear river). It has it‘s origins in Norway and run almost all the way through the county of Värmland ending up in Karlstad. In the summertime there are even public service boat busses. It‘s sunny so lets stay here for a while working with the very portable Stylistic Q550 outside in the nice weather.

 6. 6. 12:00: Lunchtime Copyright 2011 FUJITSU

This is an old building made 1876. It has served many purposes throughout the years. Now it has become an entertainment center where you can have food, play bowling and in the nights go pubing. This time lets stick with lunch and a game of bowling.

 7. 7. 14:00: The prison hotel Copyright 2011 FUJITSU

Hotel Bilan used to be a prison located very central in Karlstad. Now the prison cells have been transformed into hotel rooms. Will you be able to get out from there once checked in?

 8. 8. 14:10: Railways Copyright 2011 FUJITSU

If you are into trains you will most likely see a bunch of them throughout your visit. Most of the industrial areas are connected with railways. All leading to the central station.

 9. 9. 14:30: The hockey arena Copyright 2011 FUJITSU

Many people in Karlstad are into Ice Hockey. Färjestad BK has won the national championships many times. The arena, Löfbergs Lila Arena, is named after the biggest sponsor which happens to be the coffee house earlier in this presentation. Here we stay for some hour watching the pros in Färjestad practice while doing some final work with the Q550.

 10. 10. 16:00: So long, Karlstad Copyright 2011 FUJITSU

The batteries in the Q550 are almost out and it‘s time to leave Karlstad for this time. Before we leave we see a distant view of downtown Karlstad. Again surrounded by water.
