  4. 4. Mat 14:23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. JESUS WENT TO PRAY
  5. 5. Mat 14:24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. A TEMPEST STORM COMING
  6. 6. Mat 14:25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. Mat 14:26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. JESUS WALKS IN THE WATERS
  7. 7. Mat 14:27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. Mat 14:28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. PETER WANTS TO FOLLOW
  8. 8. Mat 14:29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. Mat 14:30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. PETER WAS SINK INTO THE WATERS

  10. 10.  The Christian life compared to Peter walking on the waves, nothing so difficult and impossible without Christ, nothing so blessed and safe with Christ. That is the Christian life, impossible without Christ’s nearness, most safe and blessed, however difficult, if I only have the presence of Christ. Believers, we have tried in these pages to call you to a better life in the Spirit, to a life in the fellowship with God.   13. 13. The Apostles are now sailing without Jesus v. 22 in Contrast of Mat 4:35-40 What is the feeling of not having a Savior? – Jesus was on the Boat when He say “Peace be Still” but in this story Jesus is not on the Boat. Sometimes we feel Okay at first without Christ, but when storms come in, we feel the necessity to find Jesus LESSONS OF THE STORY
  14. 14. He is Praying v.23 He is working with His Father He do this just for You Sometimes we tempt to think that God departs from us but on the contrary, He is interceding for us REASONS WHY JESUS DEPART
  15. 15.  Financial Depression?  Lost of the Love Ones?  Sickness in Physical?  Broken heartache?  Family Problems?  Rejection from Friends?  Having a great Mistakes?  Guilt and Shame?  Temptations everywhere?  Persecution from Family?  Trauma from the Past?  Stress because of Work? STORMS IN YOUR LIFE
  16. 16. Joh 16:32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. IT IS NORMAL TO HAVE TRIBULATIONS
  17. 17. I WISH THAT A CHRISTIAN LIFE IS EASY
  18. 18. THE STORM IS APPROACHING!
  19. 19. The storm is coming, relentless in its fury. Are we prepared to meet it? Are we one with Christ as He is one with the Father? Are we heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ? Are we working in copartnership with Christ?--Manuscript 32a, 1896. {Ev 199.1} A STORM IS COMING!
  20. 20. Heb 12:4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.  Jas 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. SOMETIMES LITTLE TRIALS LEADS US TO SURRENDER
  21. 21. Jesus walks on the Water reminding us that He had a complete control of the Nature v.25 The Disciple didn’t recognized Jesus at first, what I saw in the story is that they don’t expect Jesus to come, and He is far from them v.26 Jesus Identify Himself Immediately… therefore he is not hiding Himself from His People Peter saw this as a Supernatural event, he was convinced that Jesus an do something Miracle in his Life, Peter believe on that moment! V.28 PETER SAW JESUS WALKS ON THE WATER SO HE WANTED ALSO
  22. 22. Mat 14:29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. JESUS SAID “COME”
  23. 23. DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN YOU ACCEPT THE INVITATION OF CHRIST “COME”?
  24. 24. HOW ARE YOU TODAY CHURCH?

  28. 28. Peter Walks in the Water, Miracle… Peter at First Focused to Jesus as he walks on the water “he goes to Jesus” v.29 The focus shifts to the Storm, and winds v.30 Peter began to fear, and forgetting the fact that Jesus is there. STORMS ARE TERRIFYING
  29. 29. When you start journeying with God remember your focus must be on God! Once If you shift the focus you will feel the danger around you When we are in the Church Sometimes we are good at first next we are now cold in going to church because our focus is not Jesus. TO WALK WITH GOD IS TO FOCUS ON GOD!
  30. 30. FOCUS ON JESUS TROUGH THE SCRIPTURES
  31. 31. Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. SEARCH JESUS IN THE BIBLE
  32. 32.  None but those who have fortified the mind with the truths of the Bible will stand through the last great conflict.--GC 593, 594 (1911). {LDE 66.3} Only those who have been diligent students of the Scriptures and who have received the love of the truth will be shielded from the powerful delusion that takes the world captive.--GC 625 (1911). {LDE 66.4} TO STAND IN THE LAST DAYS

  34. 34. As Humans we cannot walk in the water We can Walk with God everywhere, even in the most impossible situation in our lives But God wants us to show, that He can do miracles in our lives He can do what we cannot do HUMAN NATURE
  35. 35. Don’t be discouraged. If failure comes, at once, without any waiting, appeal to Jesus. He is always ready to hear, and the very moment you find there is the temper, the hasty word, or some other wrong, at once the living Jesus is near, so gracious, and so mighty. Appeal to Him and there will be help at once. If you learn to do this, Jesus will lift you up and lead you on to a walk where His strength shall secure you from failure. ANDREW MURRAY
