About Google I/O 2013• World’s one of the largest developer conference held at SanFrancisco.• Google announces their product updates and new features.• 5,500 Total Participants in Google I/O 2013• 49 minutes for all the $900 (or $300 for school students and faculty)tickets to get sold out.• GDG Chapters of different countries organized Google I/O extendedworldwide every year.

  4. 4. Android Studio• An integrated developer environment, set to replace Eclipse, hasbeen announced. It will be called Android Studio.• Google also announced cloud messaging will be integrated into theplatform• The aim behind Studio is to help developers be faster and moreproductive
  5. 5. PHP Supports for App EngineDevelopmentDevelopers now can build their application using PHP as well as Pythonand Java.
  6. 6. Google Play Game Services• Sync games across devices• A new set of API• Cloud Based• Leaderboards• Cross Platform Games
  7. 7. Google Glass API Kick Start and AppRelease• A new API called Google Mirror API.• Released offical Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr apps for google glass.
  8. 8. Google Play Music• A new music streaming service• The service will cost you $9.99 per month, or $7.99 if you take asubscription by June 30. There is also a free 30-day trial period• Songs will be updated according to user tastes and preferences, andsongs can be removed from playlists with a simple swipe motion
  9. 9. Google Hangouts•  A new unified, cross-platform messaging service for iOS, Android and Chrome• One to one or group conversations.• Replaces G+ Messenger, G+ Video Chat and Google Talk• One chat to rule them all.

Google Plus Photo and Auto Enhance• New features were announced for photos on Google+, notably thatyou will now get 15GB free storage for full-size pictures, as well asunlimited space for standard resolution images.• An Auto Highlight feature will automatically decide which of yourpictures are the best and put them at the forefront• Auto Enhance will automatically make your pictures the best they canbe with some smart editing->Skin softenning->Noise reduction->Auto Awesome ,HDR and animated GIF.

Google Maps• The desktop version of Google Maps is getting a new version, that includesan improved interface, imagery and services unification, and more apersonalised experience• This new version of maps will be tailored to individual users, using thesame data Google Now employs• Images from Google Earth, Street View and special projects will all beavailable from one place• WebGL is used to augment the new views and produce a more interactiveand detailed imagery• Groundup new design, enhanced and more accurate directions and livetraffic alert.
