Strategic Procurement creates sourcing opportunities on Ariba and Procurement Controlling consolidates all figures and reports. </li></ul><ul><li>Ariba Sourcing is used from Strategic Procurement as project management and tender management platform creating and managing sourcing projects individually (using the Common Commerzbank 7 Step Sourcing Process template). </li></ul><ul><li>Ariba Sourcing is used as knowledge management and communication portal within the procurement community with a centric filing and individual directory structure. </li></ul><ul><li>Ariba Sourcing is used for the documentation of sourcing projects and savings from Strategic Procurement (perspectively from Operational Procurement for free text orders ) defining core information. </li></ul><ul><li>Ariba Sourcing is used as reporting and information system using pre-packaged reports (i.e. savings, spend synergies, KPIs) and individually defined reports. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Ariba Sourcing enables the new PCM approach considering the abovementioned requirements (create and manage client demands, schedule and manage sourcing projects and events, use and share knowledge). </li></ul></ul>
