A Butterfly’s Lesson”One day, a smallopening appearedin a cocoon; aman sat andwatched for thebutterfly forseveral hours asit struggled toforce its bodythrough that littlehole.
Then, it seemsto stop makingany progress. It appeared asif it had gottenas far as itcould and itcould not goany further.
So the mandecided to helpthe butterfly:he took a pairof scissors andopened thecocoon. The butterflythen emergedeasily. But it had awithered body,it was tiny andshriveledwings.
The mancontinued towatch becausehe expected that,at any moment, the wings wouldopen, enlargeand expand, tobe able tosupport thebutterfly’s body, and becomefirm.
Neitherhappened! In fact, thebutterfly spentthe rest of itslife crawlingaround with awithered bodyand shriveledwings. It neverwas able to fly.
What the man, in hiskindness and hisgoodwill did notunderstand was that therestricting cocoon andthe struggle requiredfor the butterfly to getthrough the tinyopening, were God’sway of forcing fluidfrom the body of thebutterfly into its wings,so that it would beready for flight once itachieved its freedomfrom the cocoon.
Sometimes, struggles areexactly what weneed in our life.If God allowed usto go through ourlife without anyobstacles, it wouldcripple us. Wewould not be asstrong as we couldhave been. Neverbeen able to fly.
I asked forStrength...and God gave medifficulties to makeme strong.I asked forWisdom...and God gave meproblems to solve.I asked forprosperity...and God gave me abrain and brawn towork.
I asked forCourage…..and God gaveme obstaclesto overcome.I asked forLove...and God gaveme troubledpeople to help.
I asked forFavors...And God gave meOpportunities.“I receivednothing I wanted...But I receivedeverything Ineeded."
Live life without fear, confront all obstacles and know thatyou can overcome them.
Once there was a man who asked God fora flower........and a butterfly.
The man was sad, he didn’t understandwhy his request was mistaken. Then he thought:Oh well, God has too many people to care for...And decided not to question. After some time, the man went to check upon his request that he had left forgotten.
To his surprise, from the thorny & uglycactus a beautiful flower had grown. And the unsightly carterpillar had beentransformed into the most beautiful butterfly.
GOD always does things right! His way is ALWAYS the best way, even if to us it seems all wrong. If you asked God for one thing & received another,TRUST.You can be sure that He will always give youwhat you need at the appropriate time.
What you want.......is not always what you need!God never fails to grant our petitions, so keep ongoing for Him without doubting or murmuring.Today’s THORN...Is tomorrow’sFLOWER!
GOD BLESS YOU!GOD GIVES THE VERY BEST TO THOSEWHO LEAVE THE CHOICES UP TO HIM!
